btwb: WOD Tracking App Reviews

Subscription required

Why not tell people this requires a paid subscription and credit card info before downloading? The one month free trial would be good to promote as well before you spend time downloading at setting up an account.

Requires Paid Account

I dont have a problem paying for products but a warning in the description that this app coincides with a paid subscription would be helpful. There are plenty of exceptional free apps or ones that are a one-time purchase only.

Great idea

Ive been using btwb for almost 3 years. The idea is great and with a paid subscription its unclear why the app is such a disappointment.

Love the App but love the website more

This app is very good, some minor improvements would make it even better. If there was an easier way to copy movements when creating workouts that would make WOD entry go a lot smoother (like you can from the full site). Also it would be great to be able to edit a WOD once you input it from the app instead of having to delete and re-enter if you make a mistake (like the full site). Other than that I love the app.

Hmm

Love the concept of it and what it accomplishes. I can keep track of what Im doing etc., so on and so forth .. But I cant stand that I type a wod or movement or anything in the search and nothing ever rarely pops up! Its quite annoying. Can this be fixed ?

Its ok

This app does not have that many features and does not make it easy to view and log complex wods.

Needs improvement.

I love the app and the simplicity of being able to check past movements quickly. However, I think the following changes would significantly improve the usability of the app overall: 1. Being able to edit something after its been posted. 2. Ability to alter the style of workout. For example, my gym frequently does a 21-18-15-12-9-6-3 style. When its multiple movements, its so tedious to go and enter all of that. Also, a buy-in that isnt associated with an amrap. 3. Have a favorites, frequently used or recently used option for entering movements for a workout. 4. Ability to add your own movements.

Need to update

The huge text and wrong ratio looks terrible

6 plus size support

Finally. Thank you

Cant save workout

Since the upgrade, I am unable to save my logged workout.

Update needs revised

The most recent update is really nice since we can go in and edit our posts, that was needed badly, but now its more difficult to enter in workouts. Please keep making tweaks and improvements, youre moving in the right direction and Im excited to see how you will make the program better! Keep it up!

Cant save workout

Must be a bug in the update, cant save any workouts

New update isnt that great!

Cant always save wod and lifting result. Its near impossible to see gym results and the worst part is it crashes all the time.

Not worth it just yet

Basically an organizational tool from what I can tell; theres no "coaching" mech to this online or in the app that can find. For example if you want to set programming for yourself if youre traveling, etc. & would like suggestions according to what it is youre working on: also if your gym isnt using it, its not going to track those WODs... I think right now, you could track just as much free through other apps/ programs.

Social Sharing Link

When you attempt to had social sharing the app freezes (iPhone 6S plus) havent found anymore flaws though. Great app for tracking your workouts

Great! Worth every cent!

Seriously best app/website ever. 100% worth the $ and always getting better! ...

Confusing buggy

Im really disappointed with this app and service. Its over complicated and Im not able to effectively search for my boxes WODS. There was another workout tracker my last box used that was 100 times better.

Please fix your site

I love the idea of this site and app. But way too many flaws. When you have a guy who has a 1 rep max bench press of 5550 pounds, it makes every legit lift look silly. Way too many examples of this for their fitness level be accurate or for others to be able to gage their workouts.

Website is decent, iPhone app and service poor

Considering all the training programs this company, you would think the techies would get the app to get it right! I thought this app is made by Crossfitters and these types of athletes would want some sort of recording system to be up to par. I am set up to view Main WOD website in addition to the extra programming by Doug Chapman. I cannot view Doug Chapmans programming on my app screen. For me, I am somewhat computer literate and not a moron. I can figure tech issues pretty quickly but I have to say the app overall is not user friendly. Service is poor. Wish they had someone live to address some issues. I do have to say the website is much better than the application itself. A little disappointed.

Update ruined the Ap

I began using BTW about 3 years ago, but the ap was awful. About 18 months ago, with the updates I began using it daily. It had been amazingly improved & I raved about it to my box. This last update though has left me extremely frustrated. I cannot pick movements, I always get "Save failed, server error" messages. I am now logging in a notepad then having to upload on the website. I am hoping these issues are being addressed as I truly love this for tracking & have so much history already input.
