Limited mobile functionality

BTWB is pretty great on the desktop but the app leaves a lot to be desired. Very limited functionality from a garage gym perspective. Just fine if youre following a gyms programming but trying to input workouts on the app is a nightmare. But again, the desktop version works perfectly for my needs.

App needs upgrade

BTWB app is very basic and needs a refresh. Capability is limited and design is poor. Irritating background photos clutter up the app and entering a workout is a struggle. Website works better than app. Competitors seem to be moving ahead in field of CF workout logging.

Widget

BTWB app should have a widget showing mainsite workouts in the Notification Center

Old technology

This App has not been updated with newly available APIs in a looong time. Its stuck somewhere in iOS 8. It doesnt offer any of the basic health logging that is now common to other tracking apps, the main one being no integration with Health Kit. Also, user experience while entering data is horrible. You need multiple clicks to move between fields, set focus, or enter data. BTWB, you need to hire some real developers.

Needs work...

So for $5 a month, you would think that they would have moved up with quality. Not many apps are membership based and not of high quality. Like has been said previously, the website is great, period! App, for the love of humanity, put some stinking work into it please. I like the website enough to keep it. If this was app only, would have cancelled like 3rd workout.

Difficult to use

Really challenging to figure this app out. Lots of screens. Lacks intuition and doesnt seem too well thought out. Constantly clicking on things that I think are what I want but arent. Id suggest the developer simplify the app and make it more intuitive.

the interface is disappointing

the new interface is slow and makes difficult the log of movements. We cant enter anymore if the wod is rxd or not.

One of the best apps for tracking your progress.

No optimization for iPhone 6

It looks ridiculous on all iPhone 6 and later models. BTWB should invest a money to optimize it for all future iPhones.

Hard to log

Ever since the entire format of the app changed its annoyingly hard to log workouts.

Middle of the road...

Contrary to the other ratings, I find the app acceptable. Not great or even good... Just acceptable. Navigation is wonky but it does what I need, log what I do at the box. I dont do a lot outside of the daily wod so I cant really comment there. I will say there are aspects of the previous version (mostly its simplicity) that I liked better. I like that it seems so much has been added to the app but it navigation is all over the place. Streamline the menus and it will be worlds better.

Love it!

Love this app!! Havent had any issues with any of the versions. Love the clean look of this newest version.

Nothing comes close

No app/tracking service comes close to beyondthewhiteboard... Like not even a little bit. If youre still wondering, get this one.

LEGIT!

Such an amazing tool for a CrossFitter. The app is awesome and its a huge convenience. I log multiple things daily and to be able to do them quickly on my phone so I dont get back logged is huge.

Great tool for logging & reviewing workouts, tracking progress, and analyzing strengths & weaknesses.

NEW VERSION IS A HOT MESS

The previous version was much easier to use. The new rev is a hot mess. One cannot add workouts other than to fill in the WOD. So if you run or do an extra workout you have to enter it on your PC. It’s slower. Navigation is more difficult. Big fail. Don’t upgrade.

Great App

Keeps track of my workouts. Compares my results to thousands of of other athletes and gives me a fitness number based on these results. Lets me organize workouts for the other guys at my fire station as well.

Great product, not as great of an app

I love beyond the white boards desktop product. Its easy to use and most workouts I do can be easily typed in, (except for "cash out" workouts). I would like to see more in the way of social media I suppose but thats inevitable. I also would like to see it have more suggestions and easier workout finding (lets say all I have to do a home workout are some kettlebells and a jump rope, make it easier to find a workout). The mobile app was better in its last format, just needed more exercises (like it currently has).

Just please update so that you can edit after workout after submitting it and correct mistakes
